On July 13, 2001 the Summer Adventure Program went on the Black Pearl Pirate Ship. First we all got beards, curly mustaches, tattoos and we got a vest and a belt and bandanas for our heads if we wanted to. Wait to you see how we looked in the videos. Next we got on the ship and went out to sea. Luckily Captain Salty drove slowly so nobody got seasick. Pirate Pete stole the key to the treasure, but somehow they already had the treasure. We had a water fight between the two ships. Pirate Bay used the disgusting flavor bay water to shoot with. At the end we finally won back the crazy key. Then they unlocked the treasure chest and each and every one of us got to put one hand behind our backs and stick the other hand in the chest and pull out a handful of coins, Laffy taffy, Tootsie Rolls and rings. At the very end we all got a tiny bit of root beer. What an experience that was.I hope my description of the day helps you enjoy the videos even more.
