A Very Cold Trip By Chey For Holiday Week we pretended it was winter and we went on a very cold adventure. We were told to bring hats and gloves and long socks (It was very very hot that day???) So we loaded on the bus and after driving up the Parkway heading north, we arrived at the Ice Palace, in Brick, New Jersey.
Only two of the kids had skated before and it was not easy. Most of us held onto the wall, but eventually most everyone caught on. The staff was very helpful. It was fun, and crazy and cold. Most of us got hot chocolate to warm up, and then we went out and got on the very hot school bus for a very hot ride home. See, I told you it was crazy. Nobody remembered to bring the camera so we don't have any pictures to share with you. But we will never forget that very cold trip.
